Mod Announcement:
There are changes afoot in the Caribbean. The heart of the Sea has been stolen by the Red Skull, and now lies in the hands of his most trusted lieutenant — though you know not which, for he has many who follow his bloodied orders. The balance has been upset, and any ships sailing the seas will face harsh storms, squalls that blow up without warning and end the same way, days without wind to steer by, and nights of lightning that strikes men dead on deck.
Ships are being sunk without preamble, whole crews lost in the preternatural storms.
For the storms to be stopped, the heart must be returned.
Sail the sea at your peril, for he will show you no mercy.
From now until the heart is recovered, there will be storms aplenty in the Caribbean and many ships will have to brave them. Any major plots involving the Heart must be run by the mods for approval, but the weather and all that comes with it is free for all, so be sure to note it in your interactions!
This will not affect any current threads from this point on, only new threads in the Pirate AU-verse will be affected. Please mark all new threads with the tag #paua: Heave Ho to show that you are now participating in the continued Pirates plot!
